ABOUT DESIGN
To me, design is:
Bringing ideas to life.
Preserving while changing.
Problem solving from core to shell.
Finding beauty in the whole and in details.
Carefully observing the past, present and future.
PROJECTS
Game Design

I enjoy making games. I usually work with my good friend, who introduced me to the fantastic world of game development in 2022.

Essences Of Power

[Character] [Environment] [Particle system] [Animations] [UI] [Pixel Art]

Do you want to try the game? Join our Discord server!

A medieval fantasy style pixel art background, with a full day-night cycle visible through the window. Oh, and interactive elements for fun!

The trailer video for the game. Fast-paced, simple controls, exponential progress and insane ability upgrades!

A few of the enemies in the game. They have different behaviours, special spells which add to the learning curve. Watch out before they get to you!

The maps are infinite, chunks being generated and attach seamlessly to one another. The goal is to survive for a definite time, then a gate opens up unlocking the next map!

Each unique ability is connected to an element. Combine two of your elements, or upgrade to a more powerful version of one!

Shapes & Colors

[Game Logic] [Card Game] [Layout] [Card Illustration]

A fast-paced card game, set in an universe where Shapes and Colors are living beings. Shapes lead battles against each other, viciously fighting, all with same goal to become the ultimate shape! They recruit colors as their troops in the battle.

The first intention was to make the game a set of collectable cards, so players can build their decks and duel against other players. This has changed into a set amount of cards in a deck, that would be available for purchase as a full game by itself.

There are 6 different card types: Shape, Primary Color, Secondary Color, Action, Instant Action, Equipment. The strongly stylized, though subtle ornaments represent different materials such as diamond, gold, silver, ruby and amber.

Last Minutes Of Moel Jiller

[Particle system] [Animations] [UI] [Pixel Art] [Web Client]

The game is live on itch.io, free to play in the browser! (Desktop only)

A fun mini-game, created for a game jam. Moel Jiller is the main character, and he is surrounded by zombies in an apocalyptic setting. The goal is to defend the pile of thrash serving as our last stand, while managing ammunition of several shooting weapons and preventing zombies from capturing parts of the pile.

We had a time limit of 48 hours for creating this game. Our team consisted of two programmers and me. We did not use any stock assets, everything has been done from scratch. Since we wanted music and sound effects in the game, we have recorded our own sounds and used Suno Ai to make the game music.

The game has a very simple, intuitive UI design that matches the apocalyptic aspect of the game, while being slightly retro-futuristic. The software I use for pixel art is Aseprite.

Graphic Design

I like to combine simple aesthetics with complicated systems. It fascinates me how digital and analog worlds flow back and forth.

Gallery

[Digital Art] [Typography] [Layout] [Lino Print]

My personal manifesto in the style of a medieval scripture. After researching several documents of the period, the whole process was digital and I tried to stay true to the layout structure and overall aesthetics.

The poster has a bold illustration with a bold statement. The style aims to break the distinction of mechanical systems from digital ones, the “machine” is an infinite loop of tubes and different attachments recalling the not-too-distant past of the industrial revolution. The goal is to be a reminder of how pollution of our home planet started, what has led us to climate anxiety and how every small gear matters in this complex system of destruction.

Pollution of the mind is a phenomenon of the Anthropocene, caused by irresponsible media consumption. The three different layouts and illustrations on the topic calls for awareness of this often overlooked, even normalised global issue. This version is inspired by the early digital era.

I aimed to create a modern digital version of mind pollution, to have it in contrast with the oldschool one. My typographic choices slightly remind me of propaganda posters, shamelessly trying to get the attention of the viewer.

This version of mind pollution is a mix of digital and analog worlds. The technique I used was lino-printing and I edited the text and layout digitally.

The lino-print for the previous mind pollution text.

A 3D project in which I tapped into different areas of design. The main concept is the folding desk extension, and I studied the parts that it uses. This poster aims to be used for a presentation of the product prototype, explaining different aspects of possible production and distibution while considering the technical principles of it.

Drawings

Capturing a moment in time feels like a privilege in the rapidly moving world we live in. People, objects, things from my perspective.
